How old is your website...in Google's eyes?

Andrew Larkin - Wednesday, May 16, 2012

Another little tool you can use to tell when Google last checked your website...

Google is forever scanning website after website for changes in content which it will then use to rank the site in its search engine (this is called indexing).

You can easily get from Google a screenshot of your website the last time it scanned it along with the exact date and time it was scanned. Ideally you want Google to have scanned your site within the last 3-5 days, if it hasn't then you may need to look at refreshing your content a little.
